Digital action game for Steam

Dollar Dash is a fast-paced top-down multiplayer title from Kalypso Media where players grab cash and outrun opponents in chaotic versus matches. The downloadable code activates on Steam and delivers an action-focused experience for Windows PCs.

Requires DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics

Minimum video hardware needs a 128 MB card such as the ATI Radeon Series 2xxx or NVIDIA GeForce Series 7xxx, while the recommended spec calls for a 512 MB card like the GeForce 8800GT or Radeon HD3850. Systems without DirectX 9.0c support cannot run the game.

Runs on legacy Windows with modest hardware

The game installs in 600 MB to 1 GB of drive space and asks for a 1.7 GHz single-core processor and 1 GB of memory at minimum, scaling to a 2.5 GHz dual-core and 2 GB for smoother play. Local multiplayer requires one controller per extra player, and activation is blocked in several listed regions.

Questions about this item

Will a 1.7 GHz single-core processor run Dollar Dash smoothly?

The minimum spec lists a 1.7 GHz single-core CPU with 1 GB RAM and a 128 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible video card; the recommended spec asks for a 2.5 GHz dual-core, 2 GB RAM and a 512 MB card such as a GeForce 8800GT or Radeon HD3850.

Does the Steam DRM require a permanent internet connection to play?

Steam activation is required once; after that the game can be launched in Steam offline mode, though online multiplayer naturally needs an active connection.

What controller is needed for local multiplayer on PC?

Local multiplayer requires one additional game controller per extra player beyond the first; any controller recognised by Windows and Steam will work.
