Precision Speed Sensor

The Kanto OBI3G2 Gen2 turntable uses a built-in speed sensor that constantly monitors the motor to maintain absolute timing accuracy. Its belt-drive system and weighted chassis minimize resonance for sonic clarity. An Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge comes fitted. Bluetooth 5.3 and a selectable phono preamp provide wireless or wired connectivity options.

For Vinyl Enthusiasts Seeking Control

This turntable suits listeners who want adjustable counterweight and anti-skate controls to fine-tune tracking force and protect records. The pitch control knob allows creative tempo adjustments. Buyers who need a fully automatic tonearm operation or a moving coil cartridge should look at other models.

Sustained Playback Stability

The speed sensor continuously corrects motor speed during extended listening sessions, preventing drift that can occur without active monitoring. The heavy plinth dampens vibrations consistently across full album sides. The aluminum platter maintains rotational inertia for stable playback from the first track to the last.

Questions about this item

Which speakers or amplifier do I need to use the built-in preamp and RCA outputs?

Connect the RCA cables to any powered speakers, stereo receiver, or integrated amplifier with a line-level input; the selectable preamp lets you match the output to the device you already own.

Can I keep my vintage amplifier and still use the Bluetooth 5.3 connection?

Yes, pair the turntable with a Bluetooth receiver connected to your amplifier, or switch to the RCA outputs and engage the built-in preamp for a fully analog path.

How do I verify the speed sensor is keeping the platter at the correct speed after setup?

Play a record and listen for stable pitch; the internal speed sensor continuously monitors the motor to maintain accurate playback speed.
