Heavy-Duty 36" Professional Box Level

The Kapro 985 Apollo is a 36-inch box level built for professional contractors and serious tradespeople who require reliable accuracy on job sites. Its robust construction withstands daily heavy use while maintaining precise alignment.

Accuracy and Vial Configuration

Three hand-calibrated solid acrylic vials deliver accuracy better than 0.0005 in./in. The patented Dual-View Plumb Site allows direct vertical sighting without awkward side views, and the level is fully reversible for quick floor-to-ceiling transitions.

Durability and Handling

Shock-absorbing end caps protect the frame from drops and impacts during transport. Ergo-grip air-cushioned handles provide a secure, non-slip hold for extended work periods, and the level carries the VPA Germany tested seal for verified quality.

Questions about this item

Will the 36" Apollo level sit flush against the 32" milled reference surfaces I already use for layout?

The 36" model shares the same box-beam profile and vial accuracy, so it aligns consistently with the 32" milled surfaces when checking long spans.

How do I verify the < 0.0005 in./in vial accuracy on site after unpacking the Kapro 985?

Place the level on a known flat surface, note the bubble position, rotate end-for-end, and confirm the bubble returns to the same reading within the stated tolerance.

Does the 985 Apollo box include the ergo-grip handles and shock-absorbing end caps, or must I order them separately?

The ergo-grip non-slip handles and shock-absorbing end caps are fitted at the factory; nothing extra is required for standard use.
