Compatible Motorola TalkAbout power kit

This pack supplies three nickel-metal-hydride batteries and a dual-bay USB charger for a wide range of Motorola TalkAbout two-way radios. It replaces the original 3.6 V 1650 mAh cells used in models from the T200 series through the T92 H2O series. The charger accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V 2-3 A.

Sustained charging behaviour

The LTD2 charger powers two batteries simultaneously at 800 mA each, or a single battery at the same current. An intelligent LED display shows real-time charging status and remaining capacity for each bay. Output voltage is 8.4 V for dual charging and 4.2 V for single-bay operation.

Chemistry constraint

These cells use Ni-MH chemistry rated at 3.6 V and 1650 mAh, not lithium-ion. Radios that require the original lithium-ion packs will not operate correctly with this set. Buyers needing the factory lithium chemistry must source a different replacement.
