4-Pack BP-727 Li-Ion batteries

This set provides four 3.7 V lithium-ion batteries rated at 3200 mAh (11.84 Wh) each and a USB charger that powers two cells simultaneously. It replaces Canon BP-727, BP-718, BP-709 and BP-708 packs for a wide range of VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders.

Suits owners of listed Canon camcorders needing

Videographers who run several compatible cameras or shoot long sessions gain four ready-to-swap cells and a charger with Micro-USB and Type-C inputs. Buyers whose cameras use a different battery form factor or who require a single-bay charger should look elsewhere.

3200 mAh per cell with dual-bay charging headroom

Each battery delivers 11.84 Wh for extended recording; the charger accepts 5 V at 2–3 A and outputs 4.2 V at 800 mA per bay, so two packs replenish together. Users needing higher capacity per cell or faster than 800 mA charge rates will find the limit here.

Questions about this item

Does this charger power my Canon VIXIA HF R300 directly or only the BP-727 batteries?

The LTD2 unit charges up to two BP-727 batteries at once; it does not supply power to the camcorder itself.

Will the BP-727 packs work in my older Canon LEGRIA HF M36 that originally used BP-709 cells?

Yes, the BP-727 is listed as compatible with the BP-709 and fits the LEGRIA HF M36.

How do I confirm both batteries are charging correctly on the LCD USB dual charger?

The intelligent display shows charging status and capacity for each of the two slots simultaneously.
