Four-battery pack with foldable charger

This set includes four lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.4V and 1500mAh each, plus an AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. The charger accepts 100-240V input and delivers 8.4V at 600mA. Red and green LEDs show charging status. Compatible with numerous Canon VIXIA, HF, FS and XA camcorders.

Steady 600mA charge current

The charger supplies a constant 600mA output, so each 11.1Wh battery reaches full capacity at a predictable rate rather than a rapid burst. LED indication shifts from red to green when the cell is fully charged, letting you confirm completion without guesswork. Four batteries can be rotated to keep a camcorder running through long sessions.

Limited to 8.4V DC output

The charger only produces 8.4V DC, so it cannot power devices that require higher voltages or different connectors. It is designed exclusively for the listed Canon BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 type packs. Users needing simultaneous multi-bay charging or in-car operation will need separate equipment.

Questions about this item

Does the AC wall charger get hot when charging all four batteries one after another?

The charger outputs 8.4 V at 600 mA and accepts 100–240 V AC input, so it runs cool during normal sequential charging.

Which Canon camcorder models can I use these BP-808 batteries with right away?

They fit VIXIA HF S200, HF10, HF11, HF20, HF21, HF100, HF200, XA10 and the full FS, HF G, HF M, HF S and HG series listed.

Will the foldable flat plug work with my older UK power strip?

The plug folds flat for storage and accepts 100–240 V AC, so it fits standard sockets when used with a suitable travel adapter.
