Four-battery pack with dual USB charger

This kit supplies four 7.4 V 1500 mAh lithium-ion cells and an LTD2 charger that powers two batteries at once. It replaces Canon BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 packs for a long list of VIXIA, FS, HF and XA camcorders. The charger shows capacity and status on an LCD panel.

Check your camcorder model and power source

Verify that your camera appears in the compatible list — models such as VIXIA HF10, HF20, HG20, XA10 or FS100 are covered. Ensure you have a 5 V 2-3 A USB supply, Micro-USB cable or Type-C cable to feed the charger's 15 W input.

Charger frees wall outlets

The LTD2 unit runs from any USB power brick, power bank or laptop port, so no dedicated AC adapter is needed. Its swappable plate design lets you charge other battery types later, while the four included cells keep a multi-camera shoot running without mains access.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 4-pack and do I need to buy a power adapter separately?

The pack includes one LTD2 dual charger, four 7.4V 1500mAh BP-808/BP-809 batteries and a Micro-USB cable. A 5V 2-3A USB power adapter is required but not included.

Should I choose this pack if my camcorder uses a BP-819 or BP-827 battery?

Yes. The batteries replace Canon BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827, so they cover all four part numbers listed for your camcorder.

How long will a 1500mAh 11.1Wh battery run my VIXIA HF20?

Runtime varies by recording mode and LCD use, but the 11.1Wh capacity typically delivers roughly one to two hours of continuous HD recording on compatible VIXIA models.
