Four-pack LP-E12 replacement set

This four-pack supplies four 7.2 V 2300 mAh lithium-ion batteries that replace the Canon LP-E12 cell. Each unit delivers 16.6 Wh of energy and fits the listed Canon EOS M and Rebel cameras as well as the PowerShot SX70 HS.

Simple drop-in installation

The batteries slide into the camera or the Canon LC-E12 charger exactly like the original cell, so no tools or firmware steps are required. A built-in protection circuit guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating, reducing the chance of a swollen or dead pack after repeated cycles.

Verify camera and charger models

Confirm that your body appears in the compatible list — EOS M, M2, M10, M50, M50 Mark II, M100, M200, Rebel SL1, 100D or PowerShot SX70 HS — and that you charge with a Canon LC-E12 or LC-E12E unit. Buyers needing a different voltage, a higher capacity single cell or a non-Canon mount should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Kastar LP-E12 battery is working after inserting it into my Canon EOS M50?

The camera should power on and display a full charge indicator; the built-in protection circuits prevent over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating during use.

What is included in the 4-pack and do I need a separate charger?

The pack contains four LP-E12 lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.2V 2300mAh (16.6 Wh); a compatible Canon LC-E12 or LC-E12E charger is required and not included.

Which version should I choose for my Canon EOS Rebel SL1?

This 4-pack of LP-E12 7.2V 2300mAh batteries is the direct replacement for the Canon LP-E12 used in the Rebel SL1.
