Four lithium-ion batteries with wall charger

This set includes four NP-FF70 compatible lithium-ion batteries and an AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. Each battery delivers 7.2 volts and 1800 milliampere-hours for a total of 13 watt-hours. The pack replaces Sony NP-FF50, NP-FF51, NP-FF51S, NP-FF70, NP-FF71 and NP-FF71S cells.

Charger accepts 100 to 240 volt AC input

The wall charger operates on 100 to 240 volt AC at 50 to 60 hertz and outputs 8.4 volts DC at 600 milliamps. A red LED shows charging status while a green LED indicates standby or full charge. The foldable flat pins make the unit compact for travel.

Fits many Sony Handycam models

Compatible cameras include the DCR-HC1000, DCR-IP series, DCR-PC106 through DCR-PC109 and DCR-PC350 models. Four batteries allow extended shooting sessions without waiting for a recharge. Not for users whose cameras require a different battery form factor or voltage.

Questions about this item

How long will the 13 Wh capacity last in my DCR-IP220?

The 1800 mAh cells at 7.2 V give roughly 13 Wh; actual run-time depends on the camcorder's power draw and recording mode.

What does the charger's 8.4 V 600 mA output mean for charge time?

The wall charger delivers 8.4 V at up to 600 mA, so a depleted 1800 mAh pack takes about three hours to reach the green-LED full state.

Will the foldable flat plug fit a UK socket?

The supplied plug is a foldable US-style flat pin; a separate travel adapter is needed for UK three-pin outlets.
