4-Pack NP-FH50 Li-Ion Kit

This kit supplies four 7.4 V lithium-ion batteries rated at 1200 mAh each and a matching AC wall charger. It targets owners of compatible Sony Handycam and Cyber-shot models who need multiple spares for long shoots or travel.

8.88 Wh capacity and foldable charger

Each cell stores 8.88 Wh, giving enough headroom for several hours of standard-definition recording per battery. The charger accepts 100–240 V input and delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA, with red and green LEDs showing charge status. The foldable flat plug keeps the unit compact in a bag.

Replaces ageing NP-FH series cells

The pack directly substitutes NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50, NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 packs across the listed DCR, DVD, SR, HC and Alpha models. It is not suited for users who need higher-capacity blocks for all-day 4K work or for cameras that require a different voltage platform.

Questions about this item

Will the Kastar NP-FH50 1200 mAh batteries power my older Sony DCR-HC20 Handycam as long as the original NP-FH50?

Each battery is rated at 7.4 V and 1200 mAh (8.88 Wh), matching the original NP-FH50 specification, so run-time on a DCR-HC20 should be equivalent.

How do I know the wall charger is charging the NP-FH50 batteries correctly?

The charger shows a red LED while charging and switches to green when the battery reaches full charge or is on standby.

Does the pack include everything needed to charge four NP-FH50 batteries at once, or do I need extra cables?

The box contains one AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug and four NP-FH50 batteries; no additional cables are required.
