AC Wall Charger for Sony NP-FH Series

The Kastar AC wall charger replaces the original power adapter for Sony NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50, NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 batteries. It suits owners of compatible Cyber-shot, Handycam and Alpha models who need a spare or replacement mains charger.

Input Range and Output Limits

The unit accepts AC 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz and delivers DC 8.4 volts at 600 milliamps. It charges one battery at a time, so users with multiple packs must swap them sequentially. No car adapter or USB output is provided.

Foldable Plug and LED Status

The foldable flat pins reduce bulk for travel and storage. A red LED shows charging in progress; a green LED shows standby or full charge. Alignment is straightforward, but forcing the battery the wrong way round can damage the contacts.

Which Kastar charger model replaces the Sony NP-FH50 battery?

The Kastar NP-FH50 AC wall charger is the direct replacement for Sony NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50, NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 batteries.

What does the 8.4V 600mA output mean when charging a battery?

The charger delivers 8.4 volts at up to 600 milliamps, so a typical NP-FH50 pack reaches full charge in a few hours; the LED turns green when complete.

What AC input range does the foldable-plug charger accept?

The unit accepts 100 to 240 volts AC at 50 to 60 hertz, so it works on mains worldwide without a voltage converter.
