Two-Pack BL-5B Power Kit

This set delivers two lithium-ion BL-5B cells and a matching wall charger. Each cell stores 890mAh at 3.7V, giving 4.26Wh of energy. The kit suits owners of the listed compact cameras, mini keyboards and portable radios who need ready spares. The foldable flat plug keeps the charger slim in a bag.

Charger Behaviour Over Time

The charger accepts 100-240V AC and feeds the cells at 4.2V and 600mA. A red LED shows active charging; green signals standby or full charge. The constant-current profile avoids the taper that fast burst chargers use, so the cells reach full capacity without heat spikes during the complete cycle.

Replaces Single OEM Cells

Swapping a lone factory pack for this twin-battery kit doubles shooting or recording time between wall visits. The jump pays off when a day trip or event exceeds one charge. Users whose devices already take BL-5B gain the upgrade without new cables or adapters.

Questions about this item

Does the charger get hot when it runs all day at 600mA output?

The charger outputs DC 4.2V at 600mA and uses a simple LED indicator; no active cooling is mentioned, so heat is limited to the low-power charging circuit.

What must I already own to use these batteries in my camera?

You need a device that accepts the BL-5B form factor and 3.7V lithium-ion cells, such as the listed VJIANGER, Saneen, Avantree, Minox, Rollei, Vivitar, Praktica, SVP, Jazz, Tecsun, Topblue, Yashica or X3 models.

Will the foldable flat plug work with older UK sockets I still use?

The foldable flat plug is designed for AC 100~240V 50~60Hz mains; it fits standard flat-pin outlets, so older UK three-pin sockets would need a separate travel adapter.
