Compact 150 Wh V-mount Li-ion battery with OLED status display, D-Tap, USB-C PD and USB-A outputs for professional cameras
Model 1 Pack
The Kastar BP-150W delivers 150Wh capacity at 14.8V in a 102 x 72 x 75.5 mm form factor weighing 26.4 oz. It targets camera operators who need extended run-time for Sony broadcast and camcorder systems without the bulk of larger bricks. The integrated OLED panel shows voltage, remaining capacity and USB output status at a glance.
Lithium-ion chemistry with no moving parts keeps operation silent on set. The built-in management circuit guards against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and over-temperature during both discharge and charge cycles. Power can be replenished through Micro-USB at 5V/3A, USB-C up to 20V/2.2A, D-Tap at 16.8V/10A or the BP port at 16.8V/10A, though only one input is active at a time.
At 10.2Ah and 150Wh this unit sits between standard 95Wh blocks and larger 190Wh packs, making it the deciding factor for productions that need a single-battery solution for full-day shoots. Operators requiring more energy per mount must step to higher-capacity V-Mount cells, while those flying under airline limits may prefer the 95Wh class.

Slide the battery onto the V-plate until the locking pin clicks; the step often missed is pressing the release button while sliding to ensure full engagement.
Store at roughly half charge in a cool place, cycle it every few months, and replace the pack when run-time drops below usable levels for your shoot.
The D-tap output is rated 14.8 V at 10 A maximum; continuous loads above 10 A will trigger the protection circuit and shut the port down.
