Installation and common issues

The pack slides into the camera’s battery compartment and clicks into place; no tools are required. Built-in protection guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating. The most frequent issue is inserting the battery the wrong way round, which prevents the latch from engaging. A dirty contact strip on either the battery or the camera can also stop the camcorder from powering on.
