What this kit replaces

This Kastar bundle supplies four BP-511A lithium-ion batteries and an LTD2 USB charger that together replace Canon BP-511, BP-511A, BP-512, BP-514 and BP-535 cells. The charger accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V 2-3 A and can charge two batteries simultaneously at 8.4 V 800 mA each. It covers the same voltage and capacity as the original Canon packs for the listed EOS, PowerShot, Optura, ZR and DM-MV series cameras.

When the upgrade makes sense
