Three-Battery Pack for Canon Camcorders

This set includes three BP-718 lithium-ion batteries and an LTD2 dual charger. Each cell delivers 3.7V and 1900mAh for 7.1Wh capacity. The pack targets owners of compatible VIXIA and LEGRIA models who need extended recording time away from mains power. It replaces Canon BP-709, BP-718 and BP-727 batteries.

Dual-Bay Charging With LCD Status

The LTD2 charger powers two batteries simultaneously at 8.4V 800mA each. An LCD panel shows real-time charging state and remaining capacity for both bays. Input accepts 5V 2-3A via Micro-USB or Type-C, drawing up to 15W from standard USB power sources. The charger also swaps plates for other battery types.

USB-Power Limits And Plate Dependency

Charging speed is capped by the 5V USB input, so full replenishment takes longer than AC docks. The dual 800mA output is fixed and cannot be increased. Users must fit the correct plate for BP-718 cells; the charger cannot charge this battery without it. No AC adapter is included in the pack.
