Four-Pack Replacement for Canon Camcorders

This Kastar BP-718 set contains four lithium-ion batteries rated at 3.7V and 1900mAh each. They are direct replacements for Canon BP-709, BP-718 and BP-727 cells and work with a long list of VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders including the HF M52, HF M56, HF R30 through HF R800 and HF M36 through HF M88 models.

Built-In Protection and Charger Compatibility

Each cell carries UL1642 and CE safety marks and integrates over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating circuits. The pack fits the Canon CG-700 charger so existing charging gear can be reused without buying new accessories.

Upgrade from Lower-Capacity or Aged Originals

The 7.1 Wh rating gives longer run time than the lower-capacity packs that shipped with many of the compatible camcorders. The jump is worth it for shooters who need extended recording sessions or want to reduce the number of spares carried, but it does not help users whose cameras require a different form factor or voltage.
