Four-battery pack with wall charger

This kit supplies four lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.1 Wh and 1900 mAh plus a foldable-plug AC charger. It targets owners of Canon VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders who need extra run-time for long shoots or travel.

Charger limited to 600 mA output

The wall unit accepts 100–240 V input but delivers only 4.2 V at 600 mA, so each cell charges slowly compared with higher-current chargers. LED indicators show red while charging and green when the battery reaches full capacity.

Confirm your camcorder uses BP-709.

Check the battery compartment label or manual for one of those model numbers before ordering. The charger will not work with cameras that require a different voltage or connector type.

Questions about this item

Which battery capacity should I pick from the 4-pack for my VIXIA HF R50?

All four batteries are identical 1900 mAh 3.7 V Li-ion cells rated at 7.1 Wh, so any one of them will power the R50 the same way.

What does the 7.1 Wh rating actually deliver in a VIXIA HF M52?

It supplies 3.7 V at 1900 mAh, giving roughly the same run-time as the original Canon BP-718 in the M52.

How does the AC 100-240 V input and foldable plug affect charging abroad?

The charger accepts 100-240 V 50-60 Hz mains and outputs 4.2 V 600 mA, so it works worldwide with only a passive plug adapter.
