Replacement kit for Canon camcorders

The kit provides a 7.1 Wh lithium-ion cell and an LTD2 dual-bay charger that accepts Micro-USB or Type-C input at 5 V 2-3 A. It is aimed at owners of compatible VIXIA and LEGRIA models who need a spare power source and a way to charge two packs from a single USB supply.

Compact charger with interchangeable plates

The charger measures 5 by 3 by 2 inches and uses swappable plates so it can handle different Canon battery types. An LCD shows charge status and remaining capacity for each bay while delivering 8.4 V at 800 mA per slot, letting users top up two packs simultaneously from one 15 W USB source.

Limited to listed Canon models

Compatibility is restricted to the specific BP-709, BP-718 and BP-727 cells and the camcorders named in the supplier data; other Canon or third-party batteries will not fit the supplied plate. The fixed 800 mA output per bay also means charging time cannot be reduced by using a higher-current USB adapter.
