Kastar BP-808 Battery and Charger Kit

This kit includes two lithium-ion batteries and a quadruple charger for Canon VIXIA and FS series camcorders. Each battery delivers 7.4 volts and 1500 milliampere-hours for 11.1 watt-hours of capacity. The charger accepts Micro-USB and Type-C input with a Type-C cable included. It suits videographers needing spare power for long shoots.

Charging Behaviour Under Load

The intelligent compact charger powers up to four batteries simultaneously with automatic current adjustment. It supplies 800 milliamperes per slot when one or two batteries are inserted and reduces output to 500 milliamperes per slot with three or four batteries. The display shows real-time charging status and remaining capacity for each cell. Charger input is rated at 5 volts, 2 to 3 amperes, 15 watts.

Replaces Canon BP-808 and CG-800

This set directly substitutes Canon BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 batteries alongside the CG-800 charger. The jump is worthwhile when a single charger and one original battery no longer cover a full day of recording. It is not for users who need higher-capacity cells beyond 1500 milliampere-hours or a charger that supports non-Canon battery plates.
