Canon VIXIA Battery Kit

This kit includes three lithium-ion BP-808 batteries and a quadruple USB charger for Canon VIXIA camcorders. Each cell delivers 7.4 V and 1500 mAh for 11.1 Wh of capacity. The charger powers up to four batteries simultaneously and shows individual status on its built-in display. Micro-USB and USB-C inputs plus a supplied USB-C cable give flexible power options.

Replaces Single OEM Charger

The quad charger replaces the standard Canon CG-800 unit that charges only one pack at a time. The jump is worth it when you shoot multi-camera events, long interviews or back-to-back sessions and need several hot spares ready without waiting. It also supports BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 packs by swapping the charge plate.

Check Camcorder Model First

Verify your VIXIA model appears in the supported list: HF S30, HF S100, HF S200, HF10, HF11, HF20, HF21, HF100 or HF200. Confirm you have a 5 V 2-3 A USB power source for the charger’s 15 W input. No other camera systems are compatible with these specific 7.4 V packs.

Questions about this item

Will the quad charger fit on my desk with the Micro-USB and Type-C cables attached?

The charger measures 3.5 by 2 by 2.5 inches, so it occupies a small footprint even with both input cables connected.

How do I switch the charger between Micro-USB and Type-C input without causing an error?

Connect only one input at a time — either Micro-USB or Type-C — and the intelligent display will show charging status for up to four batteries.

When should I replace the three BP-808 packs if run time gets shorter?

Replace the 7.4 V 1500 mAh Li-Ion packs when they no longer hold enough charge for your shooting sessions.
