What this kit contains

This Kastar BP-808 set includes four lithium-ion batteries and a single quadruple charger. Each cell delivers 7.4 V and 1500 mAh for 11.1 Wh of capacity. The charger accepts power through Micro-USB or USB-C inputs and ships with a Type-C cable.

Who it suits and who it does not

The pack fits Canon HF G10, HF G20 and VIXIA HF M30, M31, M32, M36, M300, M301 and M306 camcorders. Videographers needing more than four spare cells or a charger that works with non-Canon battery mounts should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The charger supplies 8.4 V at 800 mA for one or two batteries and 500 mA for three or four simultaneously. If your workflow demands faster per-cell charging rates, this unit will not meet that requirement.
