Two 7.4 V 1500 mAh Li-Ion packs plus a dual-slot USB charger with LCD status display
This kit supplies two lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.4V and 1500mAh each, delivering 11.1Wh of capacity. They replace Canon BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 cells for a wide range of VIXIA, HF, HG, FS and XA camcorders. The bundle is aimed at videographers who need spare power for long shoots without relying on a single original pack.
The LTD2 charger accepts 5V input via Micro-USB or USB-C and can charge both batteries simultaneously at 800mA per slot. An integrated LCD shows real-time charging progress and remaining capacity for each cell. Total input power is rated at 15W, so the unit runs from common USB power banks or wall adapters without a dedicated AC brick.
The charger uses swappable plates to accommodate different battery form factors, letting the same dock serve future Canon packs. A Micro-USB cable is bundled for immediate use with any standard USB-A source. No software or firmware is involved; the accessory is purely hardware-focused.

Other versions of this model
Insert each battery into the charger with the contacts aligned, then connect the Micro-USB or Type-C cable to a 5 V 2-3 A power source; the step often missed is using a supply that delivers at least 2 A so both batteries charge at the full 800 mA rate.
Lithium-ion cells lose capacity over time; expect to replace the 1500 mAh packs after roughly 300-500 full cycles when run-time drops below about 80 % of the original 11.1 Wh.
The charger’s 15 W input ceiling caps combined output at 800 mA per bay, so total charge current is the first bottleneck when both slots are occupied.
