This pack includes one 16.3 Wh lithium-ion battery rated at 7.4 V and 2200 mAh plus a compact quadruple charger. The charger accepts Micro-USB or Type-C input at 5 V 2-3 A and can replenish up to four compatible batteries simultaneously. Intelligent circuitry shows charging status and remaining capacity for each slot. It replaces Canon BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 cells and the CG-800 charger.

Quadruple USB charger with swappable plates

The charger delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA for one or two batteries and 500 mA for three or four at once. A Type-C cable is supplied for flexible power sources. Swappable plates let the same unit handle different battery models, reducing the number of chargers a videographer must carry. Output current drops when more cells are inserted, so full-speed charging is limited to two slots.
