Questions about this item

Should I buy the 2-pack or look for a single BP-820 battery?

The listing supplies two 7.4 V 2050 mAh Li-Ion cells in one pack, so you get a spare without ordering twice.

What does the 2050 mAh rating actually give me in a Canon XA60 or VIXIA HF G70?

At 7.4 V the cell stores 15.2 Wh, which the manufacturer says delivers longer run time than lower-capacity replacements.

Does the built-in protection circuit limit charging on a Canon CG-800 charger?

The battery includes over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating protection that works with the Canon CG-800.
