Dual USB Charger for Canon BP-820/828

The Kastar BP-820 LTD2 charges two Canon BP-820 or BP-828 lithium-ion batteries simultaneously. It accepts power through either a Micro-USB or USB Type-C port at 5V 2-3A. An LCD panel shows the charging status and capacity level for each slot. The unit ships with a Micro-USB cable and measures five by three by one inches.

Suits owners of listed Canon camcorders.

Videographers using Canon XA, VIXIA HF G, GX or XF series models that take BP-820 or BP-828 packs can keep two spares ready from any USB power source. The charger only works with those specific Canon battery types, so owners of cameras requiring different battery form factors or chemistries cannot use it.

800 mA per slot output current

Each bay delivers a fixed 4.2V 800 mA charge rate whether one or both slots are occupied. This current determines how quickly a depleted pack reaches full capacity; users needing faster charging must select a different charger with a higher output specification.
