Kastar BP-915G three-battery kit

This pack supplies three 7.4 V lithium-ion batteries rated at 3500 mAh and 25.9 Wh each, plus a dual-slot USB charger. It is built for owners of compatible Canon cinema and camcorder models who need extended run time on location.

Dual USB charger with interchangeable plates

The LTD2 charger powers two batteries simultaneously from a 5 V 2–3 A source via Micro-USB or USB-C, and its plates can be swapped to fit other Canon BP-series packs. An LCD panel shows real-time charge level and status for each slot.

Capacity and practical limits

Each cell delivers 25.9 Wh, so the trio covers long interviews or event shoots without frequent swaps. The 800 mA per-slot output means a full recharge takes several hours, so crews needing rapid turnaround should plan for additional chargers or mains power.

Questions about this item

How long will the BP-915G batteries hold a charge before they need replacing?

Each 3500 mAh lithium-ion cell is rated at 25.9 Wh and will typically last several hundred full cycles before capacity drops noticeably.

What stops the LTD2 charger from running two batteries indefinitely?

The charger outputs 4.2 V at 800 mA per slot, so heat buildup during continuous dual charging is the first practical limit.

How much heat and fan noise does the charger produce when left on all day?

The unit has no fan; it draws 5 V at up to 3 A (15 W) and stays warm but silent during extended use.
