Compatible Canon camcorder power kit

This kit supplies a 7.4V 3500mAh lithium-ion battery rated at 25.9 Wh together with an LTD2 dual-slot USB charger. It fits a long list of Canon camcorders including GL1, GL2, MV series, Optura, XF, XH, XL and XM models. The package suits videographers who need a spare or replacement cell for legacy Canon equipment.

Verify your battery model before ordering

The charger accepts Canon BP-911, BP-914, BP-915, BP-915G, BP-925, BP-930, BP-935, BP-945, BP-950, BP-950G, BP-955, BP-970, BP-970G and BP-975 batteries. Confirm that your camcorder uses one of these part numbers; the kit will not power cameras that require a different battery form factor or voltage.

USB charging with status display

The charger draws 5V at up to 3A (15W) via Micro-USB or USB-C and delivers 4.2V at 800mA per slot, charging two batteries simultaneously. An intelligent LCD shows real-time capacity and charging state for each cell. No AC adapter is included, so a suitable USB power source must be provided separately.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include a power adapter or only the USB cable?

The kit includes one Micro USB cable; a 5 V 2–3 A USB power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.

Which battery capacity is supplied — 3500 mAh or a different rating?

The included BP-915G battery is rated at 7.4 V, 3500 mAh and 25.9 Wh.

What does the 800 mA output mean for charging time?

Each slot delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA, so a fully depleted 3500 mAh cell takes roughly four to five hours per battery when charging one or two at once.
