Kastar BP-915G USB Dual Charger

This Kastar charger powers two compatible Canon Li-Ion batteries at once. It accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5V 2-3A and delivers 4.2V at 800mA per slot. An LCD panel shows charging status and capacity for each battery. The unit includes a Micro-USB cable and swappable plates for the listed BP-series packs.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Videographers using Canon camcorders such as the XF300, XH-G1 or Vixia HF G30 will find a compact dual-bay solution here. It also fits older Optura, Elura and XL series models that take BP-915, BP-930 or BP-945 cells. Buyers who need to charge three or more batteries simultaneously, or who require a mains-powered dock without a USB source, should consider a different charger.

Deciding specification: dual 800mA USB-C charging

The key figure is the 800mA output per bay from a 5V 2-3A USB-C or Micro-USB input. This determines recharge speed and whether your power bank or wall adapter can sustain both slots. If your workflow demands faster per-cell current or a dedicated AC input, this model will not meet that requirement.
