Three-pack power solution

The Kastar BP-950G EXP arrives as a three-battery set built for the RED KOMODO 6K digital cinema camera. Each lithium-ion cell delivers 7.4V and 7000mAh capacity, rated at 51.8 Wh. A USB Type-C port on every unit accepts 5V/3A or 9V/2A input for direct wall or mobile charging. Four on-board LEDs show remaining charge at a glance.

Replacing internal-only workflows

The pack replaces reliance on a single internal battery or tethered power, letting operators swap cells during long takes without shutting down. The jump is worth it when shoot days exceed one battery cycle or when rigging prevents AC access. Built-in protection guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating. Cells meet UL1642 and CE safety standards.

Type-C limits and power-bank role

The Type-C interface handles charging input and a maximum 5V 2.5A output for powering small accessories. It does not support higher-voltage PD profiles or data transfer, so it cannot drive larger monitors or recorders. The 3*2*3 inch form factor fits the KOMODO battery cavity but may not suit other camera bodies without an adapter plate.
