Two 98 Wh lithium-ion batteries with a dual-bay charger that powers Canon cinema cameras and charges phones via USB
The Kastar BP-A100 two-pack supplies two 98 Wh lithium-ion batteries and a dual-bay CH04 charger, delivering 6800 mAh at 14.4 V for Canon cinema cameras including the C200, C300 Mark II and C500 series. Each cell carries a four-LED capacity indicator so you can gauge remaining run-time at a glance before rolling.
The charger accepts 6.8–16.8 V input through two D-tap ports and an AC inlet with a foldable flat plug, then intelligently balances two batteries simultaneously while an LCD shows real-time status. A built-in USB port provides 5 V at 2.1 A for phones or tablets, and the D-tap outputs can deliver up to 100 W to power accessories on set.
This kit swaps in for BP-A30, BP-A60, BP-A65 and BP-A90 packs and works with CG-A10 or CG-A20 chargers, giving owners of C70, C700, XF605 or XF705 bodies a higher-capacity alternative. It is not suited for cameras outside the listed Canon cinema line or for users who need V-mount or Gold-mount form factors.

Slide each battery onto the charger plate until the four-LED indicator lights up; the step often missed is ensuring the plate clicks fully into place so both D-tap ports and the USB output become active.
Lithium-ion cells have no memory effect, so no periodic conditioning is required; replacement is only needed when the 98 Wh capacity no longer holds a useful charge after many cycles.
The 100 W maximum output from the type B socket and the 11–16.8 V D-tap ports will trigger protection before the 6800 mAh cells are fully depleted.
