The batteries replace the Leica BP-SCL4 (16062) and fit the Leica S, Q2, SL series and SL Typ 601 bodies. The charger replaces the Leica BC-SCL4 and requires a 5 V 2–3 A USB power source.

The 5×3×3 in unit shows charge level and capacity on its display, delivers 4.2 V 800 mA per slot and includes a Micro-USB cable. Photographers needing more than three spares or a dedicated AC dock will need additional accessories.

Questions about this item

Does the package include all three batteries and the LTD2 charger, or do I need to buy any cable or adapter separately?

The pack contains three BP-SCL4 batteries and one LTD2 dual-bay charger with a Micro-USB cable; no extra cable or power adapter is supplied.

Should I choose the 2200 mAh BP-SCL4 cells or a different capacity for my Leica Q2?

These are the only capacity offered — 2200 mAh at 7.4 V (15.63 Wh) — and they match the original Leica BP-SCL4 specification for the Q2, SL and S series.

What does the 800 mA charge current mean when I put two batteries in the charger at once?

Each bay delivers 800 mA at 4.2 V, so two batteries charge simultaneously at that rate from a 5 V 2-3 A USB source.
