Two-battery kit with foldable AC charger

The pack contains two lithium-ion cells rated at 3.7 V and 1900 mAh each, plus a wall charger with a foldable flat plug. It is aimed at owners of Canon VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders who need spare power for extended shoots.

Charger limited to 600 mA output

The charger accepts 100 to 240 V AC at 50 to 60 Hz and delivers a fixed 4.2 V at 600 mA. That current ceiling means a full recharge takes several hours, so users who need rapid turnaround between sessions should plan for overnight charging.

7.1 Wh capacity per cell

Each battery stores 7.1 Wh, which determines how long the camcorder can record before a swap is required. Videographers who regularly film events longer than a single battery can sustain will need additional packs beyond the two supplied.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the single pack or the 2 pack of BP718 batteries?

The 2 pack includes two 1900mAh batteries and one charger, giving you a spare for longer shoots.

What does the 7.1 Wh rating mean for actual recording time?

At 3.7V and 1900mAh, each battery stores 7.1 Wh, typically powering compatible VIXIA or LEGRIA camcorders for one to two hours of continuous recording.

What does the AC 100-240V input on the charger cap in practice?

The charger accepts mains voltage from 100 to 240V at 50-60Hz and delivers 4.2V at 600mA, so it works worldwide with only a plug adapter.
