AC Wall Charger for Canon Camcorder Batteries

This Kastar BP718 charger powers Canon BP-709, BP-718 and BP-727 lithium-ion packs used in VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders. It accepts 100–240 V AC input and delivers 4.2 V at 600 mA for safe charging. A foldable flat plug makes it compact for travel bags. An LED shows red while charging and green when the battery is full.

Replaces the Canon CG-700 Charger

The unit substitutes the original CG-700 wall adapter for the same battery range. It is worth switching when the factory charger is lost, damaged or when a lighter plug design is preferred for mobile shoots. The 100–240 V input covers worldwide mains voltages without a separate converter. No battery is included in the pack.

Fits Directly Into a Wall Outlet

The foldable prongs plug straight into AC sockets so no desktop space or extra cable is required. It frees up a USB port on a computer or power bank that would otherwise be used for in-camera charging. The charger works with the listed Canon camcorder models from the HF M, HF R and LEGRIA series. It does not charge other battery chemistries or non-Canon packs.
