Kastar EN-EL11 4-pack with triple USB charger

This set supplies four lithium-ion batteries rated at 1100 mAh and 3.7 V plus a charger that powers three cells simultaneously. It suits photographers who need spare power for compatible Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Ricoh and Sanyo compact cameras.

LCD triple charger with USB power input

The charger accepts 5 V 2 A from a wall adapter, car charger or computer via the included Micro USB cable. An intelligent LCD panel shows charging status and remaining capacity for each of the three slots, and each channel delivers 4.2 V at 0.5 A.

Ideal for multi-camera owners needing simultaneous

Users who only ever charge one battery at a time will not use the triple-slot benefit. Photographers whose cameras require a different battery form factor or voltage should look at other packs.

Questions about this item

Will the 1100 mAh Li-Ion cells in this 4-pack need replacing after a certain number of charge cycles?

Li-Ion cells gradually lose capacity over repeated cycles; expect noticeable runtime drop after several hundred full charges, at which point you swap in fresh EN-EL11 packs.

What stops the triple USB charger from running all three bays at 0.5 A continuously?

The 5 V 2 A input limits total output to 10 W, so sustained triple-bay charging at 4.2 V 0.5 A each is within spec, but any higher load would hit the input ceiling first.

Does the LCD charger get hot or noisy when powered from a 5 V 2 A USB wall adapter all day?

No fan is present; the charger relies on passive cooling and stays warm but not hot during continuous triple-bay operation at 4.2 V 0.5 A per slot.
