The Kastar FNP-120 is an AC wall charger for lithium-ion camera batteries. It charges NP-120, D-LI7, DB-43, BP-1500S and PX1657 type packs used in Fujifilm FinePix, Toshiba Camileo, Pentax Optio, Ricoh Caplio, Minolta and Contax digital cameras.

Installation and common issues

Plug the foldable flat pins into any 100-240 V outlet; the red LED shows charging and green shows full or standby. The unit supplies only 4.2 V at 600 mA, so it cannot charge larger capacity packs or power the camera directly.

Capacity and headroom

The 600 mA output comfortably tops up the listed NP-120 class batteries in a few hours. It runs out of headroom for high-drain video batteries or multi-cell packs that need higher current or voltage.
