Battery Pack & Triple Charger

The Kastar IS360X2B kit supplies three lithium-ion batteries and a single charger that powers all three at once. Each cell delivers 1800 mAh at 3.85 V for the Insta360 X3 action camera. A Micro USB cable is included for immediate use.

Sustained Charging Behaviour

The charger accepts 5 V 2.1 A input through Micro USB or Type-C and feeds each channel 4.4 V at 750 mA. Red LEDs show active charging; green LEDs signal standby or full charge. Three batteries reach readiness together without sequential swapping.

Practical Interface Limits

The pack fits the X3 battery cavity measuring 2.17 x 0.51 x 1.65 inches and will not fit the ONE X2 cavity at 2.36 x 0.55 x 1.57 inches. USB input caps simultaneous charging rate at the supplied 2.1 A. No other camera models are supported.

Questions about this item

Does the triple charger generate noticeable heat when charging three 1800mAh batteries at 750mA each?

The charger outputs 4.4V at 750mA per channel, a modest current that typically keeps temperatures low during simultaneous charging of all three packs.

Which cables and power sources do I need to run the charger?

The unit accepts a Micro-USB or USB-C cable connected to any 5V 2.1A USB power adapter or port; a Micro-USB cable is included in the box.

Will these 2.17" × 0.51" × 1.65" packs fit the older Insta360 ONE X2 that takes 2.36" × 0.55" × 1.57" cells?

No — the X3 batteries are shorter and thinner, so they are physically incompatible with the ONE X2 battery compartment.
