Three-pack replacement batteries

This set contains three Kastar LP-E12 lithium-ion batteries, each rated at 7.2 V and 2300 mAh. They are direct replacements for the Canon LP-E12 pack and work with the Canon LC-E12 and LC-E12E chargers.

Suited for multi-body Canon owners

Photographers who carry several compatible EOS M or Rebel SL1 bodies, or who shoot long events and want spare cells in their bag, will benefit from the triple pack. Users of cameras that require a different battery form factor or voltage should look elsewhere.

7.2 V 2300 mAh lithium-ion cells

The voltage and capacity determine whether the cell fits the camera’s power budget and how many frames or minutes of video a single charge delivers. Match these figures to the original LP-E12 specification to confirm compatibility.

Questions about this item

Will these 2300mAh packs run in my original Canon LC-E12 charger?

Yes, the pack is listed as compatible with the Canon LC-E12 and LC-E12E chargers so the cells charge in the original dock.

How do I confirm the 7.2V cells are healthy after the first charge?

Insert a battery, power on a compatible Canon body and verify the fuel gauge shows full bars; the built-in protection circuit prevents over-charge and over-heating.

Does the 3-pack include a charger or only the Li-Ion cells?

Only three 16.6 Wh LP-E12 batteries are supplied; a Canon LC-E12 or LC-E12E charger must be purchased separately.
