Kastar LTD2 USB Charger for Topcon

This Kastar LTD2 USB charger replaces Topcon BC-30, BC-30D and BT-30 chargers. It accepts Topcon BT-60Q, BT-61Q, BT-62Q, BT-65Q, BT-66Q and GMS-2 Li-Ion batteries. The unit charges up to three batteries simultaneously and shows charge status and capacity on an integrated LCD. Power is supplied through a Micro USB cable from any 5 V 2 A USB source.

Field surveyors needing multi-battery charging

Survey crews using Topcon FC-200, FC-2200, FC-2500, GPT-7000i, GTS-750, GTS-751, GPT-7500, GTS-900 or GPT-9000 total stations can keep three spare packs ready. The compact charger runs from vehicle USB ports or laptop power banks during long field days. Buyers who only ever charge a single battery at a time may find a simpler single-bay unit sufficient.

Charges three batteries at 8.4 V 0.5 A each

The charger delivers 8.4 V at 0.5 A per bay for a total of 10 W input. This fixed current and voltage profile matches the Topcon BT-60Q through BT-66Q and GMS-2 packs. If your instrument requires a different charge voltage or a higher current rate, this charger will not suit.

Questions about this item

What power source do I need to run the Kastar LTD2 charger?

The charger requires a 5 V 2 A USB supply such as a wall adapter, car charger or computer port, and a Micro USB cable is included.

Can I still use my original Topcon BC-30 or BC-30D charger with the same BT-60Q to BT-66Q batteries?

Yes, the Kastar LTD2 is listed as compatible with those Topcon charger models, so either charger will work with the same batteries.

How do I confirm the charger is operating correctly once connected?

The built-in LCD shows real-time charging status and battery capacity for each of the three slots.
