Replacement Kit for DM-FV10BP Devices

The Kastar MX990 kit includes one AC wall charger and two lithium-ion batteries rated at 1900 mAh and 3.7 V each. The charger accepts AC 100 to 240 V input and delivers DC 4.2 V at 600 mA. A foldable flat plug keeps the unit compact for storage or travel.

Sustained Charging Behaviour

The charger maintains a steady 600 mA output while the red LED shows charging progress and switches to green when the cells reach full charge or standby. This constant-current approach avoids the taper-off seen in rapid burst chargers, keeping both packs at similar state-of-charge over repeated cycles.

Upgrade Path and Limits

The kit replaces original DM-Tech, Govideo and JNC power packs for models such as DM-FV10BP, DM-AV10, PVP4040 and SSF-M2 series. Users needing higher watt-hour capacity or faster recharge rates will find the 7.03 Wh cells and fixed 600 mA output a constraint.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the Kastar MX990 charger produce when left plugged in all day?

The charger draws AC 100~240V and outputs DC 4.2V at 600mA, so heat is minimal during normal charging cycles.

Which camera models must I already own for these 1900mAh batteries to fit?

They replace the DM-Tech DM-FV10BP, CS-SFM2SL, Govideo DM-FV10BP, JNC DM-FV10BP, DM-Tech DM-AV10, Govideo PVP4040, JNC Multimedia SSF-M2 and Multimedia SSF-M20.

Will the foldable flat plug on this MX990 charger work with the older power strips I still use?

Yes, the foldable flat plug fits standard AC outlets and power strips without blocking adjacent sockets.
