Replacement Power Kit

The Kastar MX990 kit supplies four lithium-ion batteries and a matching AC wall charger for universal remotes including Acoustic Research ARRX18G, Nevo C3 and URC 8603 models. Each cell delivers 3.7 V and 1900 mAh for a total of 7.03 Wh. The bundle suits owners who need a complete refresh without sourcing cells separately. Buyers with proprietary dock-only charging systems cannot use this pack.

Plug-In Simplicity

Installation is limited to inserting each battery into the remote and connecting the charger to a mains outlet. The foldable flat plug folds flush for compact storage. The charger accepts 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz and outputs 4.2 V at 600 mA. A red LED shows active charging; green indicates standby or full charge. No firmware updates or pairing steps are required. Remotes that require a proprietary charging cradle will not work with this wall adapter.

Capacity Match

The decisive specification is the 7.03 Wh energy rating per battery, which must equal or exceed the original cell rating for the remote to hold its rated runtime. The charger’s fixed 600 mA output current sets the recharge pace and cannot be adjusted. Verify that the original battery lists the same watt-hour value before purchasing. Remotes demanding a higher capacity cell will run for less time per charge.
