What the pack includes

The Kastar MX990 pack contains four lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.03 Wh each and a single AC wall charger. The combination replaces the original NEC power packs for several cordless handset models used in office environments.

Charger behaviour over time

The wall charger accepts 100 to 240 V input at 50 or 60 Hz and delivers a steady 4.2 V at 600 mA. A red LED shows active charging while a green LED signals standby or a completed cycle, giving a clear visual cue during extended charging sessions.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that the handset requires a 3.7 V 1900 mAh lithium-ion cell and matches one of the listed NEC part numbers. The charger uses a foldable flat plug designed for standard AC outlets, so confirm the local socket type suits the plug style.

Questions about this item

Does the charger draw much power or get hot when left plugged in all day?

The charger input is AC 100~240V 50~60Hz with a 600mA DC output, so continuous draw is low and heat stays minimal.

Which NEC phone models must I already own for these batteries to fit?

The pack replaces NEC 0910052, 0910092, DT330, DTL-12BT-1, UX5000 DG-12e and A50-012628-001 handsets.

Will the 3.7 V 1900 mAh cells work reliably in a handset that originally used a lower-capacity pack?

Yes, the lithium-ion chemistry matches the original voltage and the higher capacity simply extends talk time.
