Three-pack NP-FH50 replacement batteries

This set contains three Kastar NP-FH50 lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.4 volts and 1200 milliampere-hours each. They are direct replacements for the Sony NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50, NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 series cells used in a wide range of Handycam and Cyber-shot models.

Suited to owners of compatible Sony camcorders

Videographers and photographers using the listed DCR, DVD, SR, HC, HX or Alpha bodies can keep shooting longer with three spares on hand. Users of cameras that require a different form factor or voltage should look elsewhere.

Combined capacity of 8.88 watt-hours per cell

Each battery delivers 8.88 Wh, giving extended run-time for typical recording sessions. Very long events or all-day shoots without access to a charger may still require additional packs or a mains adapter.

Questions about this item

Which Sony camera models will the NP-FH50 batteries power?

They replace the NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50, NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 packs and fit Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1, DSC-HX100, HX100V, DSC-HX200 and HX200V models.

Can I mix these batteries with older NP-FH30 packs in the same charger?

Yes, the 7.4 V lithium-ion chemistry matches the NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 series so the same charger works for all.

How do I confirm each pack is charging correctly?

The built-in protection circuit stops charging at full capacity; the camera’s battery indicator will show 100 % when a pack is ready.
