Dual USB charger for Sony NP-FH batteries

The Kastar NP-FH50 LTD2 is a dual-slot charger designed for Sony NP-FH series lithium-ion packs. It accepts two batteries simultaneously and swaps charging plates to match different capacities. The unit targets photographers and videographers who need to keep multiple packs ready for Cyber-shot, Alpha DSLR or Handycam models listed in the compatibility data.

Micro-USB and USB-C input with 15 W maximum draw

The charger operates from any 5 V 2-3 A USB source through either a Micro-USB or Type-C port, drawing up to 15 W. Each slot delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA whether one or two batteries are inserted. An integrated LCD shows real-time charge level and status for both bays, removing guesswork during top-ups.

Plate-swap design keeps the kit minimal

Interchangeable plates let the same chassis handle NP-FH30 through NP-FH100 packs, so a single charger covers the whole range. The compact 5 by 3 by 1 inch footprint fits in a camera bag without adding bulk. Users who need simultaneous charging for more than two packs or who require AC mains input directly on the device will need a different solution.
