Dual-slot USB charger with LCD status display powers two Sony NP-FH series batteries simultaneously via Micro-USB or Type-C input
The Kastar NP-FH50 LTD2 is a compact USB charger designed for Sony NP-FH series batteries used in Handycam camcorders and Cyber-shot cameras. It accepts two batteries simultaneously and draws power from any 5 V USB source, making it suited to travel or studio top-ups.
Videographers with compatible DCR-DVD, DCR-HC, DCR-SR, Alpha DSLR or Cyber-shot bodies can charge spare packs without the original AC adapter. Users whose cameras require a different battery form factor or who need mains-only charging should consider alternative solutions.
The box includes a Micro-USB cable and the charger offers both Micro-USB and Type-C input ports for flexible power options. Interchangeable plates let the same unit handle different NP-FH batteries, while an LCD shows real-time capacity and charging status for each slot.

It draws 5 V at 2–3 A (15 W) through either the Micro-USB or USB-C input, so any USB-C charger rated for at least 15 W will run it.
Yes — the dual-slot LCD reports voltage and capacity for each bay independently, regardless of whether the inserted battery is an NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50, NP-FH70 or NP-FH100.
The LCD displays a moving bar and the exact capacity percentage for each slot; when both bars advance steadily and read 8.4 V output, each bay is delivering the rated 800 mA.
