Battery Kit for Sony Handycam & Cyber-shot

This kit provides a replacement lithium-ion battery and an AC wall charger for a wide range of Sony camcorders and digital cameras. It suits owners of models such as the DCR-DVD100, DCR-HC15 or DSC-F828 who need a spare power source. The bundle includes one battery and one charger with a foldable flat plug for compact storage.

Capacity and Headroom

The battery delivers 17 Wh at 7.4 V with a 2300 mAh rating, giving typical recording time for standard-definition Handycam models. It will power a DCR-TRV108 or DCR-PC100 through a normal session, but extended events may require an additional pack. The charger outputs 8.4 V at 600 mA, so a full charge takes several hours rather than minutes.

Charger Convenience

The supplied wall charger accepts 100–240 V AC input, making it usable worldwide with only a plug adapter. Its foldable flat pins reduce bulk in a gear bag, and a red LED shows charging while green signals standby or full charge. No car adapter or USB cable is included, so in-vehicle charging needs a separate accessory.
