This Kastar NP-FM500H lithium-ion battery replaces the Sony NP-FM500H pack. It fits a long list of Alpha DSLR and SLT bodies including the A200 A300 A350 A450 A500 A550 A560 A580 A700 A850 A900 series as well as the A57 A58 A65 A68 A77 and A77II models. One cell is supplied in the pack.

Voltage and charger limits

The cell delivers 7.4V and is charged with the Sony BC-VM10 or AC-SQ950 charger. Built-in circuitry guards against over-charge over-discharge over-voltage over-current and over-heating. The pack meets UL1642 and CE safety standards. No other charger or voltage is supported.

Capacity and runtime

Rated at 2400mAh and 17.76Wh the battery provides extended shooting time compared with lower-capacity alternatives. It powers the listed cameras through typical sessions but will eventually need recharging during very long events or video work.
