Four-battery kit for Cyber-Shot cameras

This pack supplies four 3.6 V lithium-ion cells rated at 1250 mAh and 4.5 Wh each. They replace the Sony NP-FR1 and fit a long list of Cyber-Shot models from the DSC-P, DSC-T, DSC-V, DSC-F and DSC-G series. The bundle includes a single AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug for compact storage.

Charger delivers steady 600 mA current

The wall unit accepts 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz and outputs a constant 4.2 V at 600 mA. That rate replenishes a depleted cell without rapid bursts, so each battery reaches full capacity in a predictable time. An LED shows red while charging and switches to green when the cell is ready or the charger is idle.

Low heat and silent operation

Because the charger runs at a modest 600 mA, it stays cool during normal use and produces no audible fan noise. The foldable pins reduce the risk of damage when the unit is packed in a bag. Each battery weighs very little, keeping the overall kit light for travel.

Questions about this item

Does the AC wall charger run hot or make noise when charging four 1250mAh batteries all day?

The charger draws AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz and outputs DC 4.2V at 600mA with a foldable flat plug; LED shows red while charging and green when full, no fan or audible alert is mentioned.

Which cameras or original chargers must I already own for these NP-FR1 packs to work?

Compatible with Sony NP-FR1 batteries, BC-CS3 and BC-CSD chargers, and Cyber-Shot models including DSC-G1, DSC-V3, DSC-F88, DSC-P100 series, DSC-P120, DSC-P150 series, DSC-P200 series, DSC-T30 series and DSC-T50 series.

Will the 3.6V 1250mAh cells behave differently in an older DSC-P100 than in a newer DSC-T50?

Each cell is 3.6V 1250mAh (4.5 Wh) lithium-ion; the charger supplies 4.2V 600mA and works with all listed models from DSC-P100 through DSC-T50 without separate firmware or voltage selection.
