Kastar NP-FR1 LTD2 Dual USB Charger

The Kastar NP-FR1 LTD2 is a dual-slot USB charger for Sony NP-FR1 lithium-ion batteries used in Cyber-Shot compact cameras. It accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V and can charge two packs simultaneously with an LCD status display.

Compatibility and limitations

Suits owners of the listed Sony Cyber-Shot models who need a replacement for the BC-CS3 or BC-CSD charger and want to charge two NP-FR1 cells at once. Not for users whose cameras require a different battery form factor or who need an AC wall adapter included in the box.

800 mA per-slot charge current

Each bay delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA, so a single battery or a pair charges at that rate from any 5 V 2–3 A USB source. This current value is the key figure to match against the original charger specification.
