Built-in protection circuits

Every cell includes over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating safeguards and meets UL1642 and CE safety marks. The standard NP-F form factor fits the original battery compartment and works with Sony BC-TRV, BC-VH1 and AC-VQH10 chargers.

Ready-to-shoot spares

Four batteries in one box let you rotate packs during long events without waiting for a recharge. No charger or cable is bundled, so buyers who need a charging solution must source it separately.

Questions about this item

What voltage does the NP-FV50 battery deliver to the camera?

Each cell supplies 7.2 V, matching the original Sony NP-FV series specification for compatible Handycam and NX models.

What are the physical dimensions of one NP-FV50 pack?

Each battery measures 3 by 2 by 3 inches, so verify the camera’s battery cavity accepts that footprint before purchase.

How are the Kastar NP-FV50 batteries installed in the camera?

Slide the pack into the camera’s battery compartment until the latch clicks; the common error is stopping short of the click, leaving the contacts unseated.
